Reading about books

People care about public opinion and they want other people to love them and respect them. They need because it is a common need of most of people in the world. And they do their best in this purpose. But, there are such people who are too lazy to do it and the only thing they do is creating illusion of their image. People know that intelligent people are respected and they want to be intelligent. They want to show they like reading and they know numbers of things. But indeed, there are only one or two books they have read indeed. But they are always glad to communicate with other people and talk about books and ideas of those books. They never read books but they read about books. They have a couple of ideas in their heads and they use these ideas to impress people. I guess it is better not it take a book in your hand at all in case you are not reader than to create an illusion of it. Those people are more intelligent who never read books and never talk about those than people who pretend like they are readers and they do understand something.

Books to change our life

There are books people read because they have friends who told them to and there are books people read because they have to. The last is about school or university. And there are books people are looking for because they know they want to read those. And there is another kind of books and those are books that change people and their lives. There are such books you find accidentally or someone gives those to you. At first it seems like there is nothing interesting in this book and you don’t feel like reading it. But, with the laps of time you find a moment free of everything and the best think you can do in order not to get bored is to read and you grab that book. You grab it, you read it and suddenly you realize that it is the best book for you. You find there all those things you were looking for and you see in that book those answers for all questions you have. Such books change people and their characters and are actually of great help for them. There are just the words a person needed to hear.

We hope

Have you ever thougt that many millions of people in the world every day open any printed materials and read them?. Some of them read the first page of the newspaper, others at least romantic stories, and the third ones read the whole novels. And it is not important why they read. We think that there are different reasons for reading. For example, reading helps to relax, to distract from daily routine, to learn something new, to know the latest news. Sometimes people read just for fun. Readers are taking books from libraries, buying them in the book shops, downloading them from the Internet and sometimes even borrow books from friends. By the way, some scientists believe that reading aloud can even affect somehow the plants growth. But of course not everyone likes reading. There are men and women who like to spend their free time watching TV. They find it much more interesting and less time consuming. In the future, we hope that people will read more and more fiction, and at least one member of a family will know who Lev Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin and Fyodor Dostoevsky are.

An Essential Skill

When was the last time you found yourself reading a book for pleasure? In today’s technological age, reading a book for the joy of it has fallen to the wayside. The book industry has suffered because reading has been replaced by simple and easier tasks like movie watching and video games, and yet the small hardcore group of die hard readers is just enough to keep some publishing companies afloat.

When reading is of interest, publishing companies can generally find a simple niche group who will respond to written material. However, there has been a great struggle for the small publishing houses to stay alive. While there are so many young and talented writers emerging, their books are left unpublished. This is not because they aren’t writing fantastic books. It is because publishing houses can’t find enough people willing to pick up a book for the pleasure and education of reading.

History has proven that as we read books from the past, we learn much about the writing and life of how it once was. English classes still offer an in depth study of reading material from the greats. It is quite unfortunate that the generation after this one will have so many great talents left unpublished and that the electronic generations will never know the great stories left untold. Reading gives us more insight to the world, our history, and our future than nearly any other medium and it has become a rapidly dying, albeit cherished art.

Reading and Intellect

Today many people, especially young people don’t read at all. They are proud of their ignorance. They get all needed information from TV and radio. They think that this is quite enough for them to regard themselves to be clever. If a person doesn’t see his/her ignorance, this is the first and foremost sign of ill-breading and total absence of intellect. Clever people, even if they are recognized and have many awards always question their fame and often underestimate their merits. They understand that they should compare themselves not with people around them, but with their own ideal which is deep within them. These people strive for true knowledge, as their main goal is cognition. Unlike truly clever people, many show-offs exist in our world. Their knowledge is kitsch and nothing more. Intellect is partially congenital, partially developed. It can be developed only by means of reading books. Many young people watch popular science films and think that they can fully replace reading books on these topics. However, reading can’t be substituted by entertaining movies. Popular science movies are also meant for entertaining and this is their main drawback from the viewpoint of education. The information they contain is usually inaccurate, there are many inexact details there and so on. However, many young people build theories basing on this inaccurate information and don’t even guess that they look foolishly before the educated people they talk to. That is why reading should be propagated and advertised. This is very important, as we must save coming generations from their stupidity.
